February Editorial

February Editorial

Hi there,

There are a few interesting and important things to fill you in on this month so strap in!

First of all there are a number of amazing Features being published this month with works including; visual poetry, mixed media visual art, and nonfiction prose! Check in on all the Tuesdays in February to see it all.

You can catch interviews with our Features on the Baby Teeth Patreon! Join at any tier for access to Creator Interviews and bonus content. You can support us for as little as $1 a month! It’s a bargain and you get the lovely warm glow and clear skin that comes with directly supporting independent artists!

Blackout Poetry Competition

We’re doing the damn thing again! CLICK HERE for the guidelines and how to enter, and if you need some inspiration have a look at the previous winner!

Entry is $5, the winner gets $100 cash and publication in Baby Teeth. Runners up will be posted on our social media.

This was such a fun competition to do first time round, we can’t wait to see the works you send through!

Journal Submissions are Open!

Just like always regular journal submissions are open as well. You’ve got until February 21st to get those artworks sent through, which is slightly less time than normal so don’t delay! Read our GUIDELINES first, we had a few people send in two different submissions on the same order last month which is technically not on. If you have any questions about your submissions Contact Us.

Help Save Our Friends at Society City!

Covid has hit everyone’s favourite community arts collective and second hand book shop pretty hard. Help save Society City from being forced to close shop forever by donating to their fundraising campaign. If you want Wollongong to have funky little arts organisations you need to support them, every little helps here <3
