August Editorial

August Editorial

Strap in everyone we have some news to cover!

August is bringing you some amazing poetry and film photography, as well as our brand new t-shirts designed by Ava Marinos (and maybe some cheeky stickers too) and, AND submissions are open for No Love Lost, a zine, which you can read all about if you scroll down!

Submissions call out poster for No Love Lost. Features an illustrated scene of a messy bed/floor 'no love lost' is written as text on a purple shirt. Snails are scattered across the scene. A wand vibrator with the Baby Teeth Logo sits on the bed.

No Love Lost is Open for Submissions!

Huge thank you to Diane Zaharis for working with us on the design for this project, you can find her on Instagram!

This zine is after poetry written about relationships that have since broken up. Not breakup poems, the poems you wrote during the relationship, the ones full of loving sentiment and sap that seem so strange now in retrospect. That’s what we’re after here.

Submissions are open from August 1st to 31st

Click through for more information about this project and to read the submission guidelines. We’re hoping to make both print and digital editions of the finished zine :D

Journal Submissions call out poster features a large set of cartoon eyes looking towards the bottom left corner. text reads 'show us something cool'

Regular Journal Submissions are Open too

If you’ve gone ahead and burnt all evidence of your former love poetry we’d still love to see the other cool stuff you’ve been making!

Submissions are open August 1st through to the 22nd

You can find our Guidelines right here, read them closely! No PDFs! No ignoring word limits! We won’t publish anything that ignores the guidelines!

There is no theme.

Eye Tooth Shirt Update

The wonderful Peggy at IKKE is working away with her screens to print up your shirts!

We will be posting them out as soon as we can. If you opted to pick your shirt up in person we will be in touch with dates and times via email soon.

Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered a shirt, we hope you love it!

Without the support of our Patreon Patrons Baby Teeth could not exist! Thank you to everyone who gives a little cash each month so that the rest of our readers can access the Journal for free! You’re also the reason we can pay our Features! And our bills!

If you have a spare $1 a month join up and be included in this gratitude :D
