Local readers will already know that hundreds of bush fires are currently burning across Australia. These fires are a direct effect of the global climate crisis, a fact the Government continues to deny. The amount of destruction is truly incomprehensible, figures in the hundreds of thousands, and millions. What is more unbelievable is the continued lack of leadership and basic human decency from the Morrison Government.

There is a Protest for Climate Action in Wollongong on January 11th.
