March Editorial

Hello and welcome to March on Baby Teeth!

As always we have some amazing Features to share with you this month. Hope you like free verse poetry and photography!

A huge thank you to everyone who entered our Blackout Poetry Competition. If you’re reading this right when it’s published there is still time to enter/get your entries in! Be quick though the deadline is midnight. More info on that here. The response to this competition has been amazing and all of your emails saying how fun it was to create your poems have been lovely to read! We will be doing more competitions in the future!

The winners will be announced and published at the end of the month.

Journal Submissions Are Open

You know the drill, send us some art! Here are the Guidelines. No PDFs, no Google Drive links, no being rude to our Editors.

You’ve got from today (March 1st) through to the 28th to get those emails sent.

T-Shirt Design Contest

When one contest closes another one opens!

We have been daydreaming about making merch for a long time now, but slapping our logo on some fabric frankly isn’t good enough. So we’ve come up with a better idea, running a contest to find a very cool design for our first ever Baby Teeth Journal t-shirt!

We are working with local screen printers IKKE Design & Print to produce some hand printed, sustainably sourced and produced cotton t-shirts.

This competition is open through to March 31st and is free to enter. We aren’t expecting 100% polished and finalised designs as we will be working with the winning artist to make sure the artwork will print properly. Click here for the full entry guidelines.

It’s a contest, so what is the prize? The winning artwork will obviously be printed on t-shirts and sold on Baby Teeth which is cool. Cooler than that though is that the winning artist will receive 10% of proceeds from all sales for the life of the design. Which means you’ll get a cut of every sale of the design we ever make.

Can’t wait to see all of the great ideas you have!
